This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing audit teams who are responsible for auditing a variety of clients from large corporates and rapidly expanding owner managed businesses through to academy schools and charities.
Role Requirements -
- Leading and executing audits and other assurance engagements from planning to completion under UK GAAP.
- Building strong relationships with your clients and ensuring that a quality service is delivered.
- Developing and coaching our trainees so that they become accomplished business advisors.
Person Responsibilities -
- ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (or equivalent) - Study Support provided.
- Experienced at taking responsibility for a range of audit assignments.
- An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with their clients.

Stockport Council is looking for experienced Social Workers to join their Out of Hours (OOH) Service, providing an effective and timely response to urgent situations outside standard business hours. You will work as part of a well-established, highly experienced team delivering statutory social care functions. The team benefits from regular Team Manager support and an On-Call Service Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to urgent notifications involving vulnerable children and adults at risk of harm

Role Requirements -
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies in accordance with FRS 102, FRS 102 1A, and FRS 105, as well as for sole traders and partnerships.
- Preparation of group consolidated accounts (desirable but not essential).
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
- Submission of quarterly and monthly VAT returns.
- Bookkeeping using client software (Xero preferred, but experience with various platforms is beneficial).
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Processing of monthly and weekly payroll (desirable but not essential).
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including direct communication and advisory responsibilities.
Personal Requirements -
- 3 to 5 years of experience in practice.
- Fully qualified, nearly qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and familiar with a range of accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 50, and Sage Cloud.
- Experience with CCH for accounts and tax production (desirable but not essential).
- Understanding of client onboarding procedures, including AML and KYC compliance.
- Willingness to contribute to other areas of the business such as networking, marketing, or social media initiatives.
